FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How do I know if I need a new roof?

When you have visible damage such as missing shingles, curled shingles, or significant granule loss (collected in your gutters or at your downspouts) it is definitely time to request a free inspection.  You might have damage that isn’t as easy to spot like moisture damaged roof decking, cracked plumbing boots, loose or brittle caulk that might lead to interior damage of your home.  Lastly, if you’ve recently experienced strong storms or hail you should consider an inspection to see if any damage occurred.

Will I have to schedule the job through my insurance company?

If our roof technician discovers that you have potential wind or hail damage they will recommend you call your insurance agent to request an adjuster to come and inspect.  You as the homeowner has to make the initial request, but you do have the option to sign an agreement that allows your insurance company to work directly with our roof technician for the remaining process.

What if I can't afford a roof project?

We’d love to talk with you about how we can work together to get your project done. Get in touch with us and we’ll take a look at how we can help.

We have residential roof financing available and will soon have commercial roof financing available as well.

“My roof is leaking—do I need to have the whole thing replaced?”

No. A leak can occur from storm damage, normal wear and tear, or previous poor installation.  In many cases these can be repaired.  When the leaks become more frequent and are determined to be due to the overall failing integrity of your roof is when you need to strongly consider a replacement.  Be sure to ask us about financing options.

“Can you roof over my existing shingles?”

Technically yes, but we advise against it.  You are adding significantly more weight to your roof and not identifying any water damaged decking.

What should I look for in a professional roofing contractor?

First and foremost you need to confirm that they are covered with adequate general liability and workers compensation insurance.  Check out their reputation via online reviews, evaluate their timeliness, and how well they address your concerns.  We strive to create a great overall experience for each customer and provide them an exceptional new roof.
